Abstract

In a company that works on many projects, a system that can be used to monitor progress is needed. Monitoring is an assessment activity that is carried out continuously to see the progress of a task. Monitoring is important to make sure the project that is being carried out can run well. In this research, a Monitoring Project application was built using the Agile Software Development method. The application is made to make data managing and progress monitoring easier. In addition, a feature will be added to store and share project file access rights to the team members so that the files related to the project can be properly centralized. The application is built using the Python Flask and Webix Javascript framework. The application will be integrated with Google Drive storage using Google Drive API. The integration will be done with the help of the pyDrive library which can simplify Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication. pyDrive also warps the functions of the Google Drive API so the program code becomes more object-oriented. Applications then will be tested using the black box method which focuses on testing the application functions. Based on the testing results, the application can be used to do monitoring projects and help users in sharing project files with fellow team members. The Monitoring Project Application from this research can be used to monitor project progress and share project drive with team members

Abstract

Hate speech on social media, especially Twitter, often takes the form of racism, sexism, or political interests aimed at certain individuals or groups. These actions can trigger crime, riots, violence and even resistance to individuals or groups. Therefore, we need a process of classifying a tweet whether it is hate speech or not to reduce the abuse that occurs on Twitter. The technology used in the classification of hate speech that is most commonly used is neural networks that require user data and meta data. In previous studies, the Naïve Bayes (NB) method has been used using the bigram, unigram and feature selection features with an accuracy of 80-85%. The k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) method has also been used which has an accuracy of 70-85% on the clarification of hate speech by political figures. Meanwhile, the most widely used method is the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method with an accuracy of 70 to the highest 95%. To get a higher accuracy in the classification of hate speech, this study will perform a Hybrid Classifier on the Hate Speech Hashtag Classification process using a combination method of MLP, kNN, NB. The data used in this study are Twitter Tweets from November 2021 to June 2022 regarding trending hashtags. The average accuracy performance results obtained using MLP, kNN, NB were 72%, 63%,73% respectively. To improve the accuracy of the classification results of the three methods, a combination of methods using the Hybrid Classifier is carried out. Experimental results show Hybrid Classifier with voting method can increase accuracy up to 74%. It was found that the use of a hybrid can provide a better system performance than the 3 classifiers in its composition, namely kNN, NB and MLP

Abstract

Police have a very important role in society. The main task and function of the police in protecting the community is the main thing to do in order to create order in society. The traffic police currently acts as a service that takes care of making a driving license (SIM). So far, SIM registration is still done manually by police officers. Therefore, the applicant must go directly to the Deli Serdang Police Traffic Unit to register and fill out the form, then the officer will enter the applicant's data individually. So it must require higher accuracy for officers when entering applicant data, then it can result in long queues for applicants and can take longer. To assist officers in managing applicant data and avoid long queues. So a website-based driving license registration information system was built. With the creation of this system, it is hoped that it can be the best alternative for the Deli Serdang Police Traffic Unit officers in improving performance, especially in terms of services for managing a driving license (SIM). So that there are no longer queues that are so long and applicant files that accumulate in the archive warehouse. In building this system the author uses MYSQL as a database, PHP and HTML as a programming language, and uses the waterfall method in designing and formulating problems

Abstract

Nypa palm worm (Namalycastis rhodochorde) is a new species of Polychaeta class found in Sei Kakap area. Apart from being obtained from the river coast, cultivation is one way to get worms, but the cultivation of nypa palm worm is still within the scope of the lab and is done manually. Manual cultivation has a problems, especially in controlling water salinity which affects the survival or survival rate of worm. Therefore, this requires an Internet of Things in installation of worm cultivation. This system aims to control the salinity of the water and then monitor the salinity and temperature of the water as well as the temperature and humidity of the air. Another goal is to control water salinity which affects the survival rate of worms. The results of monitoring and controlling the water salinity will be displayed on a website-based application. Arduino Uno is used as hardware that controls the system, NodeMCU ESP32 is used as a tool to connect to the server, water salinity sensor is used to measure water salinity, DS18B20 sensor is used to measure water temperature, as well as DHT11 sensor is used to measure air temperature and humidity. The results of testing the reading system of each sensor obtained an error value 0,017% and 0,032% water salinity sensors, 0,015% DS18B20 sensor, as well as 0.011% and 0.003% DHT11 sensor. Application of the system can reduce water salinity by 1-3 ppt and resulted in the survival rate of worms by 41%.

Abstract

The culinary specialties of an area are part of local wisdom that must be preserved. Central Kalimantan with its cultural customs and local craftsmanship which is still very high has a variety of culinary delights with unique and interesting tastes and appearances. The problem that occurs is that the younger generation now knows more about European-style foreign cuisine and other foreign countries so that when asked about the local cuisine, not many people know about it. The culinary introduction along with its recipes aims to introduce as well as maintain and preserve these recipes so that they can still be passed on by the younger generation, especially the local people of Central Kalimantan. Along with the times, Android-based applications are in great demand among young people because of the various features that make it easy and enough to download the application on the Play Store. This application is named e-Recipe Cullinary KalTeng. The user interface of this application is designed using Figma and developed using the Flutter Platform with the Dart programming language. Features in this application include dishes and snacks typical of Central Kalimantan, each of which is also listed as a recipe. This application is tested using Black Box and the results show that the entire application can run well and is user friendly

Abstract

Forecasting is one of the essential measures in decision making, especially for estimating the number of needs. Some large companies often hire consultants to analyze and advise on forecast product demand. Especially in the health sector, forecasting is needed to meet customer drug demand. In the last two years, the Healthy Prayer Clinic experienced problems in planning the procurement of non-generic drugs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where the number of drug requests was greater than the number of available drug stocks. This happened because the Healthy Prayer Clinic ordered non-generic drugs without planning. This study aims to determine the demand for non-generic medications in the next period and provide recommendations for the best forecasting method to meet customer needs. The methods used in this research are Simple Moving Average (SMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), and Exponential Smoothing (ES). Then test the accuracy of forecasting using Mean Square Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results of the overall forecasting calculation using the Simple Moving Average method of 19.774, then the Weighted Moving Average method of 19.573, and the Exponential Smoothing method of 20.851. The results of the calculation of the best demand forecasting using the Exponential Smoothing (ES) method for 3 months carried out from April 2021 to April 2022 obtained results of 20.851 with forecasting error accuracy using Mean Square Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) is 1.341.137, respectively; 883; and 0.90%. The best method with the smallest accuracy rate for forecasting errors is the Exponential Smoothing method with forecasting values for the next month, April 2022, amounting to 20.851

Abstract

Mandarin is the second international language used by the world's population and is the language most studied by students in Indonesia. This research was conducted to determine the success rate of the Freeman Chain Code algorithm and the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm in mandarin letter recognition. In recognizing Chinese characters, there are several stages that must be passed, namely pre-processing, feature extraction, and letter recognition. The pre-processing stage uses grayscale, Gaussian Blur, binaryization, and thinning. The feature extraction stage uses the Freeman Chain Code Algorithm and the Depth First Search (DFS) Algorithm. The classification stage uses the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm and the L1-Metric Algorithm (Manhattan Distance). In this study, there were 10 letter classes with each letter having 100 sample images. The distribution ratio of this research is 70% training data and 30% testing data. This research produces an application that is able to recognize Chinese characters. The success rate resulting from this study was 72% with 216 of the 300 images successfully recognized

Abstract

Position promotion is a transfer or promotion of an employee in a structure within the organizational structure who has the ability to know skills and a responsible attitude in accordance with qualifications based on standards that exist in a company itself with specific functions. In the process of selecting the best employees, for recommendation for promotion, a measurable decision support system is needed. As in the POLDASU HR BUREAU, which does not yet have a decision support system, which so far has recommended promotions at the North Sumatra Regional Police, there are still obstacles in the criteria for evaluating promotions, so does not rule out the possibility that decision making is done subjectively by only looking at certain aspects and requires a long time in making decisions. In general, the recommendation for promotion is given by each work unit, good assessments from superiors and employee performance in carrying out their duties. For this reason, it is necessary to assess data processing employees who can help companies make decisions related to promotion recommendations. There needs to be supporting criteria for using a decision support system. In this study applied a combination of ROC and TOPSIS methods. The weighting of each criterion is carried out by applying the ROC method, then followed by a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives using the TOPSIS method. The results of the Research Recommendations for Promotion of Positions that are appropriate for promotion are alternative A1 with a preference value of 1,497 on behalf of "Hendrik"

Abstract

The development of technology in the world from time to time continues to progress so rapidly that various kinds of tools in the world are now converted into digital tools that facilitate the activities of human life. However, with the development of this technology, unfortunately, it has not had much impact in the realm of Tahfidz Al-Quran. Media Tahfidz Al-Quran, currently available in the community, is to follow a program that learns under the guidance of a teacher or study together in one place. Based on a survey conducted by interviews using several digital Al-Quran applications available in the android play store as a media for Tahfidz Al-Quran. The usability aspect that has not been fulfilled in using digital Al-Quran as a media for Tahfidzul Quran is efficiency and satisfaction. Therefore, to properly use Tahfidz al-Quran in digital form, it is required to have the appropriate UX modeling in line with the needs of Tahfidz Al-Quran. Because Task-Centered System Design (TCSD) method puts a strong emphasis on user demands and task requirements, this study intends to create a design using TCSD.Furthermore, to ensure that the model developed is within the circumstances and user characteristics, the product model outcomes will be assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The findings of this study provide recommendations for the Tahfidz Al-Quran application's user interface design and have an improved usability score at 88.75, which is expected to be a benchmark for the Tahfidz Al-Quran application. Therefore, the TCSD method can also raise the SUS usability value in the application

Abstract

Medical science is a science that explores the handling of diseases carried out by health workers. The importance of the role of health workers today is based on data from the Ministry of Health, Indonesia still lacks health workers and it is hoped that a new generation will come who have broad knowledge, are intelligent, competitive and useful for public health. Basically, many prospective students who will enter medical education do not yet have knowledge about the use of medical devices, so education on the use of medical and medical devices needs to be carried out to provide insight to prospective health workers in the future. In this study, the author designed an application to provide education about medical devices commonly used in hospitals, both in terms of functions and how to use them for prospective students who are interested in majoring in health and medical sciences. The method in designing this system uses the Computer Assisted Instruction method. In its use, users can learn about medical and medical equipment according to their class, namely hospital health care and treatment, anesthesia equipment, teeth, eyes, ENT, radiology, cardiology, surgery, and several others. The author uses an expert review instrument in testing the validity and testing one to one to determine the practicality of using the application. Based on the results of the Expert Review, this application is declared valid based on the average value of the assessment results of media experts, design experts and evaluation experts with an average score of 4.0 so that this application category is declared valid. Furthermore, the results of the product practicality test through one to one testing were assessed by 3 respondents with an average value of 3.9 with practical criteria.
